About Us

Our Story

Seacoast Fishing Supplies has been serving the Atlantic Canadian fishing industry since 1991. Founded by Donald Boudreau, once a lobster truck driver who saw a need for stronger, longer-lasting traps, the company quickly became a trusted supplier for fishermen across the region.

For over three decades, Donald built Seacoast with dedication, craftsmanship, and community spirit. In 2020, he passed the torch to Guy Donelle of GL Wood Products, ensuring Seacoast’s values and expertise lived on. The transition brought together two family businesses rooted in trust and tradition.

In 2025, Miguel Bourque, Guy’s brother-in-law, joined the leadership team. With a shared commitment to quality and a fresh perspective for the future, Seacoast continues to honour the traditions of the past while building for tomorrow.

At our core, Seacoast has always been about family, community, and the enduring spirit of the fishing industry. Just as fishing is passed down through generations, we proudly provide the gear that helps sustain this way of life.
